Welcome...... I am so glad you are here.

For years I have wanted to write a blog and finally I am going to try it.

So about the title of this blog.....that's a really hard thing to narrow down.  But just so you know it simply means I will be writing from my happy place.  You know how you trudge through some days and mentally you just need to go to your happy place.  Well the beach does not come to mind nor does a majestic mountain top.  Nope, for me it is right here where I am writing from today - my couch under my favorite throw.  Now my happiest place is on this couch under a throw, watching QVC, doing some online shopping at Nordstrom, eating maple nut goodies while drinking a full strength Coke. The very thought of that gives me goose bumps......but back to what we were talking about....

We keep about 10 throws in our living room because I am afraid we have a throw gene that runs through my family.  We are used to coming in snuggling down. There is one throw that is considered "mine".  My sweet family gifted it to me a few Christmases back.  While my particular pattern is not still available there are other patterns and they are on SALE (that by the way is my happy word).  It's from Eddie Bauer and can be found here.

But no matter where you are....the beach, the mountains, your favorite chair....I hope you will meet me here to chat about life, shopping, crafting, cooking and who knows what else.  To make it easy go ahead and follow me by email. Now if you are reading this on Wednesday, February 1st, you are here just in time for our first "You Should Know"!!!! Well I thought you should know that you should go by the Chick Fil A in Madison on Hwy 72 tomorrow on Groundhog Day.  You will get a special receipt that you can bring back March 1-15

Groundhog Day is coming up on Thursday, February 2nd!!! That means that Chick-fil-A Madison, AL is on repeat! All regular menu item purchases made on February 2, 2017 will be honored once from March 1-15, 2017 for FREE to anyone who retains their specially marked receipt!!!

This may be going on at other Chick Fil A locations.  I'm sure you could call and ask.
