Charity Day Finds - Belk

It is once again time for the Charity Sale at Belk.  Here is a quick refresher - buy yourself a $5 ticket and you get access to special sale prices on May 5th, 6am-10am. However,  you can go in and pick out your items any time between now and then.  The associate will reserve the items for you and then ring them through the register later.  You go back anytime after the 5th to pick up your goodies.

Now here are a few things you might like......I did

The Shoe Department was rocking it out.  First up Korks.  If you have never worn the Korks brand, they are super comfortable.  They really do a great job in giving you a little lift, a little style but great wearability.

This one comes in this brown, a black and a white.

Then check out these espadrilles by Eileen Fisher.  This is definitely a little pricier but if you want it, now is the best time to pick it up.

If you need a little slide, this one is by Lucky and is fun and affordable. It is black and white and is on a comfy little cork footbed.

Admittedly, I have a thing for black and white and I have a thing for checks.  This Ralph Lauren sneaker has it all.

I took an extra picture of the inside because there is some serious padding and cushion in the shoe.  It has double working zippers and would be a fun addition to your summer wardrobe.

Now if you are on the internet at all.......you know everyone is wearing these wedges.  Well this Vince Camuto is a more reasonably priced option, a good heel height for normal people who can't walk on the tip toes all day and yet still very stylish.  You get two color options and you might just want to pick up both of them.  This is definitely a go to summer shoe.

Now here are a couple of handbags that I also thought were cute.  I am a sucker for a tote bag and this one drew me in

The colors are bright and lively.....my photo came out a little darker.  This is a fun summer tote.

And you all know I also love a fun little clutch.

Belk Charity Sale Round 3

The manager at the Bridgestreet Belk got in some new things and she wanted you all to see them.  Now not everything is new, but a lot of it is ,,,,but most importantly it is ALL included in Saturday's Charity Sale.  Of course, I hope you are beating the rush and pre-selling. This was worth a bonus  Thursday post!!!!

First up these luxurious towels. You will thank yourself for these.  If you can totally restock, go for it or buy a few this sale and add to it the next sale.  Trust me these are worth a trip to Belk.

But y'all, THIS GIANT BEAUTIFUL BEAR

He is 92 inches tall. Yes, that is almost 8ft tall.  The store manager, Janet is standing behind him and we can't even see her.  There was this giant box waiting to be unpacked and she said she thought it was one bear in there......I couldn't believe it.....so we unpacked him and put him in this chair.  He is gorgeous and only $599.  If you buy this, please call me so I can come over and hang out with him.....we really hit it off.

And lastly, although we have two Belk locations in our town.....these patterned rain boots are unique to Bridgestreet so make sure you check them out while you are there

Belk Charity Sale Round 2

Hope  you had a great weekend and are ready to face another week.  To make it a little easier let's talk
more on the Belk Fall Charity Sale today. If you missed round 1 of the sale you can click here.

I'd advise you to beverage up once again today because we have a lot to cover.

First up, this time of year I have one thing on my mind and that is comfy, cozy shirts.  I found a couple that I really liked.

This one reminded me of a baby blanket I used with my kids.  It is super soft and comfortable and I think would look great with a pair of jeans and some smart booties. It also comes in a pretty plum color which Belk had paired with an olive green jacket.......delicious.

I think the colors in this online photo are a little more vibrant than the colors in person.  I thought the top was a little more muted and could easily be worn by those of us who are not typical camo wearers.

Next this is a BCBG Flare Sleeve Dress in spiced wine with the BCBGeneration Long Vest in a black combo. The vest has a split back.  These colors looked great together and with some black boots would be fantastic.

I think we are all going to need a puffer vest this year.  And I really like this one by Calvin Klein.  It is so soft and not too bulky.  Any striped t-shirt would look great under these. It comes in this versatile black

But also in all of these fantastic colors.

We also love the Hue Wide Waistband Leggings ........key word on these "Wide Waistband".  These fit great and most importantly stay up well.  Also if you have a bit of a muffin top, the wide waistband is the perfect little muffin holder 😁 And good news, they made a velvet version this year.

And these textured leopard leggings will be fun for the season as well.  Still black leggings but with a little umph.

Now if you like blanket scarves but find the size overwhelming, these next scarves will give you the look but without the bulk. This is the Steve Madden Classic Square Blanket Wrap
