Belk Charity Sale - Round 1

We are taking a quick break from specific gift idea post to talk about the Belk Charity Sale. But don't worry I think you will find a few gift ideas anyway....maybe even gifts for yourself.

And I have great news, ladies, Bridgestreet Belk partnered with me on this blog post so we could see the best the Charity Sale has to offer.  So get yourself a nice cup of coffee, tea or soda and prepare to scroll a while.

We started in the handbag department.  Do you know what the number one handbag sold at the Bridgestreet Belk is?........ Brahmin and with good reason - they are super stylish and the selection is fantastic

There are several displays of the Brahmin bags.  But you know what else is there? Clearance Bags.

Yep these are marked down but will be an additional percentage off.

But also
Ralph Lauren

And these are Patricia Nash Bags which have beautiful leather.  Keep your eyes open for these styled on mannequins throughout the store.  You can amp up an outfit with one of these.

Now let me show you some specific bags that caught my eye.

Medium Lena Tote

And this is the prettiest plum color
Distressed Vintage Beaumont Flap Bag

Now lets look at some shoes.  I always admire people in cute little slide ons but I have found several of them to be extremely heavy.  So I tried on quite a few and here are my picks for slide ons:

This is the J. Slides Calina in blush.

The Steve Madden Ecentrcq which comes in four colors.

which comes in several great colors.....see

Now after you find a good slide on....you need a good bootie and I recommend this Latigo Isaac Lace-up

And this Korks Shamira (I couldn't find it online to link to but it is $129)

And if you are feeling super trendy, try this Lucky Bayleah which was perfect with ankle jeans.

How much do we all love and need a good rainboot....well I thought this Sorel Lea Wedge is too cute and the fact that is waterproof....well what can I say

And is case you were not aware, velvet is back with a vengeance.  Apparently we are all going to need a velvet pair of shoes to sport this season so here are a few options.

First up the Madden Girl Carmello which comes in navy and blush.

Ok and I saved the best for last in ladies shoes.  If you have always wanted a pair of Frye boots....Now. Is. Your. Time.  Girls, get yourself a pair of Frye boots while the Charity Sale is going on. This is the Frye Melissa Trapunto and it is beautiful.

Then if you are feeling really sporty, pop on up to men's and get a guy in your life this
Frye Men's Chukka because it is a good time to get the men a Frye shoe too.

but if you spent too much on yourself, they may like this Nunn Bush Lancaster ðŸ˜‰

I appreciate that you hung in there thru all those photos.  I wanted to get you started on the Charity Sale because you need to get started on your pre-selling.

So now I am going to give some Charity Sale basics.  If you know the drill, read no further, go ahead and get in your car and head to Bridgestreet.  If you don't know the drill, here we go.  For the Charity Sale you buy a $5 ticket but you get five dollars off of your first purchase.  Once you have the ticket you are eligible for the sale prices throughout the store.  Almost everything is included.  There are very few exclusions like Under Armour, Ugg, Michael Kors handbags and there may be a few others.  But trust me more stuff is on sale than not on sale.  Now the actual sale is Saturday, November 4th 6-10 a.m. but you can pre-sell now which means you go in pick out your purchases, give them to the sales person and then go back and pick them up after the sale.  This way you get first pick and secure your size. Win!!!!

And don't forget if you have one of the Belk Elite coupons make sure you use it during Charity sale too.

This is one of the few opportunities that we can stack coupons so you will be getting extra savings.

This is just the beginning,  I still have women and men's clothing and some fragrances and jewelry to talk about.  I will try to get all of that done this weekend.

Please do you shopping at Bridgestreet Belk if you can, they were extremely generous in letting me scope out items and take countless pictures.  A big thank you to the store manager, Janet Brown and to the ladies department manager, Simin who took me all around....and she was wearing heels.

Make it a great weekend.  Meet you back here on Monday.
