Forgiveness ----- right? It is hard sometimes, it can be elusive, it can feel impossible. And then you add on the trying to love the offenders through it. The offenders who often times refuse to admit the wrong, acknowledge the hurt and certainly don't even ask for the forgiveness present a very special challenge. But we have an example. A Perfect Example and with Him we can do it. We can love in spite of. We can forgive. And He would be glorified and we would be free.
I thought since it has been so prevalent lately perhaps it would be of benefit to talk about it here. Maybe we all need to know that we are not the only one and that yes indeed the struggle is real. And then remind each other that
He is real
His love is real
He has forgiven us
He lives in us
And with Him we can live this out too.
Loving this song and its message and wishing for you the ability to let go of the things you need to let go of, the ability to love for His glory and the freedom which comes when we walk in His example
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31-32
