Every Day in May plus the Succulent Class Review

It is May 1st so let's get started on being intentional this month.  If you missed the initial post, please click here and join in with us.

1818 Farms in Mooresville, AL is a lovely place with some of the best products and workshops to offer.  For a full list of their current offerings you can click here.  I had the pleasure of getting together with some friends and attending the Succulent Tea Cup class where we made this

I am a huge fan of the natural and simple living approach of 1818 Farms.  I love the care and detail that goes into the products and their packaging.  I am not a coffee drinker but I understand they make some good coffee.  I am also a huge fan of the owner.  She was so personable, down to earth and just plain fun.  I like a girl who is just plain fun.

As a bonus to a fun class, the location was fantastic.  Our class was held at the cutest kitchen and gift shop in Decatur called The Cupboard.  I could spend hours in this store.  I plan to spend hours in this store.  The store owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.  She selects family owned companies to feature in her store and she can tell you about everything she has to offer.  She also carries several of the 1818 Farms' product.  I may have gone home with a lip balm, a cuticle cream, a vegetable brush and a few other items for gifts.  This is a wonderful store with lots to offer.  It is locally owned and worth the trip.  This is on my list to do again real soon.

Here we are with all our finished tea cups.

Both of these places are worth checking out.  Enjoy!

  1. I didn't know about these classes. How fun! I have fake succulents from Target. They look so real and no effort! Ha!
